Research profile
My main research focus in mathematics is on applications of topological and differential geometric methods in algebraic geometry, number theory, quantum field theory and other areas of science. Recently, I got interested in topological data analysis and other topological methods related to graph resp. network theory and in new homotopy theoretic methods in type theory and (infinity) category theory. Such methods can potentially create useful invariants for large data sets and other features of phenomena in the natural and life sciences.
