Research profile

My research group is actively involved in the development of analytical methods and applications for the analysis of biomedical data with a focus on gaining insights into disease-related genetic and epigenetic mechanisms. Here, we address, for example, sex-specific methylation detection using nanopore sequencing, automated identification of RNA modifications using machine learning, real-time transcriptional analysis, chromatin conformational capture analysis, and the study of the epigenetic basis of resilience.
