Research profile
I am a bioinformatician interested in automation of quality control of functional NGS data as well as multi-Omics analysis and integration in life sciences. For both of these I apply and develop machine learning methods, leading me to also being interested in artificial intelligence research itself: recently I started working with language modelling for biological sequences and chemistry. I am part of the clusters4Future cluster curATime where I apply my above-mentioned knowledge for biomarker search in atherothrombosis patients and the TRR332 which is concerned with Neutrophil biology.
